Katie Johnson is currently attending the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire to become an English Secondary-Education teacher with a minor in both Creative Writing and Specific Learning Disabilities. She grew up attached to the written word as it proved vital to her survival after personal setbacks became prominent within her daily life. She has been published in The Flipside Magazine as well as various self-publishings. She is a supporter of universal access to learning as well as mindfulness-based education as she has used them as strengths to help cultivate her work.
